Royal Victoria Hospital - Regional Health Centre and Hearts and Minds Campaign
Over a number of years, the owners and Sales Representatives of Royal LePage First Contact Realty have donated over $250,000 to the ‘I Believe’ campaign for Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre’s (RVH) Phase 1 Expansion.
Thanks to this and other generous support from people throughout this region, the ‘I Believe’ campaign for Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre’s (RVH) Phase 1 Expansion was a huge success, exceeding the $35 million goal!
On May 5, 2015 RVH officially launched Hearts & Minds – a campaign to raise $25 million for five areas of priority for the health centre:
- • Child and youth mental health services - $3 million
- • Advanced cardiac care - $15 million
- • Women's cancer services - $3 million
- • Equipment - $5 million
- • Teaching and research - $1 million
Many of our generous Sales Representatives continue to donate a portion of every commission cheque to the RVH Hearts and Minds campaign as do the Owners of Royal LePage First Contact Realty.
The owners of the Brokerage also regularly support the Royal Victoria Hospital through the Hockey Night in Barrie Event.
Women and Children's Shelter of Barrie
Royal LePage First Contact Realty, owners and sales representatives are proud to support the Women and Children's Shelter of Barrie through the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation. Through regular commission donations and other fundraising initiatives, including our participation in the Garage Sale for Shelter and as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2015 Walk A Mile in Her Shoes Event, we are thrilled to have donated approximately $150,000 to this worthy, local service.
The Shelter maintains a 27-bed location for women who have left abusive relationships with or without their children and an off-site location for women in the community who are seeking support. Agency staff provide counseling, safety planning, women and children’s groups, legal and court support, referrals, and information and education about violence against women. Hospice Simcoe
The sales representatives and owners of Royal LePage First Contact Realty make donations to Hospice Simcoe through regular contributions from their commissions. The Brokerage also raises funds for this worthy and necessary cause through the annual Circle of Friends for Hospice luncheon held each year in partnership with Melchior Management Corporation. Mady Centre for the Performing Arts
Barrie’s Mady Centre for the Performing Arts, which includes the Park Place Theater performance space, is a world class facility conveniently located in Barrie’s downtown and managed by the Department of Culture
The owners of Royal LePage First Contact Realty have given/committed $25,000 to the Mady Centre for the Performing Arts.

WOMEN'S inTUITION
Georgian College is asking women to empower women. They are engaging female leaders living in communities served by the college to join together to raise money for scholarships for women enrolled in their certificate, diploma and degree programs.
The owners of Royal LePage First Contact Realty participated in earning $373,050.00 for this worthy cause at the Celebrity Event in November of 2015.
The owners have committed to an annual scholarship of $1,000.

The owners of Royal LePage First Contact Realty have donated approximately $20,000 to this worthy cause over the past three years.
Emmanuel’s Wish Foundation (EWF) is a Christian organization currently serving the community of Richmond, KZN in South Africa. They are committed to serving the Global Community with integrity and responsibility, sending all funds raised overseas and operating by volunteers in Canada.
Kempenfelt Rotary Club, School Build in Cambodia

Barrie Food Bank: 2015 Mac and Cheese Luncheon
Royal LePage First Contact Realty was proud to have been a sponsor at the 2nd Annual Mac and Cheese Luncheon benefiting The Barrie Food Bank. The event raised $40,000, more than doubling the the $18,000 raised in 2015.
